What it does

Panelmi names the maker of your iPhone's display panel (Samsung Display, LG Display or BOE) from a sysdiagnose, the diagnostic file iOS builds itself. The file is read on your iPhone, offline; nothing is uploaded. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device model explains the report in plain words. The maker comes from the panel code, not from the AI.

How it works

Press and release both volume buttons and the side button together, quickly. Do not hold them: holding starts Emergency SOS.
Wait about 10 minutes. Panelmi can remind you. Meanwhile, run the free dead pixel and touch tests.
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data, open the newest sysdiagnose file, tap Share and choose Panelmi.

What you see

The panel maker and the three-character panel code. Unknown codes are shown as they are, never guessed.
About when the panel was made, decoded from its serial.
A plain-language verdict, written on the device.
